I love the rare mornings when both girls sleep in (and yes, 7am counts as sleeping in). It’s so nice being able to relax and make/eat breakfast in peace.

Way long ago, before you were born, I made a rule that your older siblings could not come downstairs (we were living in the house at the stables and our bedroom was downstairs while theirs were upstairs) until 6:45 a.m. They would get dressed and sit at the top of the stairs waiting for the clock, but at least I got a cup of coffee in peace. It felt good then, but I do feel sort of guilty about it now.

Scott, I know exactly what you mean. That is why Ron and I get up early even now. I just love quiet and relaxed mornings. It really sets the pace for the rest of the day! Everything goes so much smoother when you have a good morning!
